Apple's First Touchscreen MacBook Pro Goes on Sale Friday
Apple is putting five new products on sale Friday, November 6, including its first MacBook Pro models with OLED touchscreens, alongside a new iPad mini and iMac.

Apple will put five new products on sale this Friday, November 6, following pre-orders that opened last week. The most notable item on the list is the company's first MacBook Pro with a touchscreen.
The lineup spans tablets, desktops and laptops: an OLED iPad mini with the A20 Pro chip, an M6 iMac, an M6 14-inch MacBook Pro, and the new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with OLED touch displays. All of it arrives on a single launch day.
Five products, one launch date
All of the new products remain open for pre-order. Delivery estimates generally show that customers who order today can receive their devices on launch day, so many buyers should have their new hardware in hand by tomorrow.
The new iPad mini pairs an OLED display with the A20 Pro chip, while the iMac moves to the M6. On the MacBook Pro side, two separate lines stand out: the standard 14-inch model with the M6 chip, and the 14- and 16-inch models with OLED touchscreens.
The touchscreen MacBook Pro models are Apple's first touch-enabled laptops in this series. Alongside the keyboard and trackpad, users will be able to interact with the screen directly by touch.
Pricing from $699 to $3,399
The iPad mini starts at $699 and the iMac at $1,499. The M6 MacBook Pro has an entry price of $1,999.
Prices climb higher for the OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro. The 14-inch model starts at $2,899 and the 16-inch at $3,399. These are starting prices in US dollars and will vary with configuration.
The one delay: Space Black 14-inch
The only notable delay in the delivery schedule affects the base 14-inch touchscreen MacBook Pro. In Space Black, shipping is estimated at three to four weeks, while the same model in Silver ships within seven to 10 business days.
That makes color choice a deciding factor in delivery time for anyone who wants the touchscreen MacBook Pro in the first days. Other configurations still show launch-day delivery, and orders will remain open after the on-sale date.
