Accuracy is our priority. We can still make mistakes; when we do, we commit to correcting them quickly and saying so clearly.

Reporting an error

Send us the link to the story together with the wrong information, missing context or typo you noticed.

Reports are reviewed; confirmed errors are corrected.
Substantial corrections are noted under the story in a “Corrections” section with date and explanation.
Minor spelling and punctuation fixes may be made without a note.
If an error invalidates a whole story, it may be removed.

When a developing story gains new information, its update time is reflected on the page.
