Editorial Policy
These are the principles Merhabyte follows in its publishing.
Accuracy
Our stories rest on facts. When we cannot verify something we present it as a claim, not as settled fact. We give figures, dates and product names as close to the primary source as we can.
Originality and copyright
We write in our own words and do not copy other publications’ text. We aim to respect third-party copyright. If you believe content or an image infringes your rights, tell us; your request will be reviewed and the item corrected or removed where appropriate.
Fairness
We keep news and opinion apart and avoid exaggerated, misleading or clickbait headlines. Advertising is clearly separated from editorial content.
Use of AI
AI-assisted tools may be used to prepare stories. They are only an aid; Merhabyte is responsible for what is published, and errors are handled through the corrections process.
Images
Images are chosen to relate to the story. Rights-holders’ requests to remove or correct images are reviewed.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it. See the Corrections Policy.
