Apple Creator Studio gets OpenAI-powered AI features in November
Apple has announced new Creator Studio features that combine Apple Intelligence with OpenAI models. Existing subscribers will get the update for free in November.

Apple has announced a set of updates for the apps included in its Creator Studio subscription. The company describes them as powerful new AI features, and they rely on Apple Intelligence working together with OpenAI models. The announcement came alongside the unveiling of new iMacs with the M6 chip and a 14-inch MacBook Pro.
The update will be free for existing subscribers. Apple did not give a specific date, saying only that the new features will arrive "this November," which means they could land on any day of the month.
MotionVFX comes to Final Cut Pro
The headline item is the integration of MotionVFX directly into Final Cut Pro for Mac. MotionVFX offers a large collection of visual effects, plug-ins, transitions, templates and motion graphics tools, and it now lives inside the app. Editors get themed templates, polished graphics, titles and transitions, along with rotoscoping, tracking and color grading tools. Apple says the collection contains thousands of items.
Final Cut Pro also allows seamless editing inside Pixelmator Pro. Meanwhile, video content has been added to the Content Hub, a collection curated by Apple that is now accessible from within Final Cut Pro. Users can reach Apple-selected stock video, photos and backgrounds without leaving their workflow, whether they need to fill gaps, add finishing touches or look for new ideas.
AI upgrades in Logic Pro and Pixelmator Pro
Logic Pro for Mac gains an intelligent assistant, currently in beta, that pairs models developed by Apple with OpenAI's. It is meant to guide users through production, help start a new song, set up a vocal recording with a single prompt, or improve a project already in progress.
Other changes in Logic Pro include an improved Stem Splitter that can now separate drums as well. A redesigned Browser brings all sounds together in one place and includes music understanding as well as a Splice library.
In Pixelmator Pro, the new Generate Fill feature lets users transform selected areas of an image using natural-language prompts.
Assistants and MCP support for Keynote, Pages and Numbers
Keynote, Pages and Numbers receive next-generation intelligence features for subscribers, arriving as betas. An assistant built on Apple models and OpenAI understands the context of a document, helping users do more without leaving their work.
In Keynote, the assistant helps design, animate and edit slides. In Pages, it drafts, restructures and refines written content. In Numbers, it handles calculations, data visualization and editing, suggests suitable chart types with one-tap previews, and can build custom tables using general knowledge.
New Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, built on this platform, lets external AI agents and tools read content, make edits and run automated actions inside Keynote, Pages and Numbers. The three apps also gain stock video in the Content Hub, along with new premium themes and templates.
